i should not be sorry that i took so long for say i love you
you said it to me on an old air mattress in the depths of the night
i went still as stone, you don't understand how love has broken me
i had always held an affection for you, for some time
but that word holds consequence and fear
but i am sorry i didn't say i love you sooner
i just hope your love can help to heal me
and not break me like the all times before
